Active Assignment Weekly (Jan.10) - "Photographer Emulation: Robert Mapplethorpe"

I tried out my new Vietnamese coffee set today and thought it might be a good occasion for another Mapplethorpe-style photo. I'm not sure how well it really matches with his style but apart form this, I'm quite happy with the result.

WIT: A backdrop to get a uniforme background and a lot of shots to get one with a drop in mid-air. Cropped, converted to b&w, adjusted contrast and exposure blurred a bit, as it somehow looked too sharp.
